Burdened by anxiety and the ghosts of her past, she struggles to maintain control over her emotions. Her routine is thrown into disarray when her ex, Sebastian, unexpectedly contacts her out of the blue, reopening old wounds and dragging her into a spiral of confusion and heartache.
Every story begins with a spark. For me, that spark was ignited right in the heart of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Born and raised in the North East, my obsession with the written word began long before I truly understood its power. As a little girl, I didn't just read stories, I wrote them. By the time I hit secondary school, my voice was already demanding to be heard. I began winning local writing competitions and even had the honor of seeing my early work published in North East Poetry Anthologies.
